There is a feature in wordpress that is very useful: the auto update to the latest version of wordpress when it has been released in a new version. Unfortunately can happen that in change, after that automatic update process has finished, we have error 500 from any blog’s page. The error 500 can come out in wordpress after the automatic update because the process go to renew any single file and setting for each file the CHMOD permission to 644 (only read). This can cause the 500 error and to solve it is only necessary to reset the CHMOD to the correct value for each wp file on your server, which value can be 755 or 777, it depend from your server’s settings.
